Love your Dell Adamo XPS; Just don’t LOVE your Dell Adamo XPS

CNET’s Crave Blog had an opportunity to take Dell’s new Adamo XPS notebook out for a test drive. We here at DellObserver.com shared with you teaser pictures which had been leaked teased by the company.

Turns out that the Adamo can only be opened by “rubbing” a sensor on the front of the case. I guess this takes affection for a gadget to all new heights not seen since the debut of the “RealDoll” back in the early 2000’s?

Want a big, honking Desktop? Dell’s Studio XPS

I’m sort of surprised – I thought that between affordable/powerful  notebooks and the new generation of All-in-one desktops, folks wouldn’t have the need for a big, honking desktop that evokes images of the Original IBM PC.
 
Guess I’m wrong – seems that the gaming set still likes a big box with a state-of-the art Intel processor (Core i5 and Core i7), room to add hard drives (ever hear of external USB?), and a mega graphics setup.
