Deal Alert – Dell Inspiron 17 Notebook – ONLY $499
I remember when the 17″ notebook form factor was launched in 2003/2004. They were heavy, ugly and cost considerably more than 14″ and 15″ notebooks. Well looks like times have changed – Dell.com is offering their value line 17″ Notebook - the Inspiron 17 for just $499. Includes a Pentium Dual Core, Vista Home and 2GB onboard / 160GB HDD. Its still large, and probably not great for a student to lug all around campus. May make a good desktop replacement though.
